I’m Sabeeh.

I write and produce and perform, usually somewhere at the intersection of silly and informative. I’m drawn to complicated people, strange institutions, and the funny parts of serious things.

My work has ranged from late-night comedy and global documentaries to developing film and television for major networks, streamers, and production companies. I’m a longtime writer and performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York and Los Angeles, and I’ve performed in sold-out shows and at comedy festivals around the U.S. and abroad. I’m also a member of the Writers Guild of America.

Before all of this, I studied Jewish history, learned varying amounts of Hebrew, German, and Yiddish, and grew up on a small goat farm. I mention this mostly in case you have a bubbe who wants to practice her Yiddish with a Pakistani Muslim, or a goat with urinary calculi.
